Cooking Tips for Saladmaster
If your a new Saladmaster owner you might have a few questions about using your new healthy cooking systems. Getting started is easy. There are just a few simple guidelines that need to be followed in order to take full advantage of the Saladmaster cookware. We are here to support you with the learning curve.

WASH FIRST BEFORE USING
It is important to wash cookware thoroughly before initial use.

KEEP YOUR COOKWARE LOOKING ITS BEST!
Rinse utensil with warm water. Create a paste-like mixture using a small amount of water and a non-abrasive stainless steel cleanser such as Surface Master by Saladmaster.

HOW TO COOK EGGS?
Preheat skillet for 3 minutes over medium-low heat (approximately 250°).

LEARN ABOUT THE VAPO VALVE™
The Vapo Valve™ is designed to click when the food or liquid inside the pan reaches approximately 187°-180° F (86° C).

MEDIUM CLICK LOW
To form a water seal, begin by heating utensil on medium heat with cover in place. When Vapo Valve™ clicks, reduce heat to the lowest temperature setting.

FINDING THE CORRECT TEMPERATURE?
Due to the quality construction of your utensils, low to medium heat settings are recommended for most cooking needs. High heat is ok for certain methods.

WHEN DO YOU PRE-HEAT?
When pre-heating is recommended, use the medium heat setting for 3 to 4 minutes before adding foods. Perform this simple test to determine if the utensil is pre-heated properly.

Although your cookware can be used for all types of cooking, it is specially designed for low moisture cooking.
