Baking on-top of the Stovetop
Cakes and quick breads may be baked on top of the stove in your cookware. When preparing batter, follow the recipe instructions on the package.
Easy stove-top baking instructions:
Using a paper towel, slightly braise the utensil with a small amount of healthy cooking oil. Or you can use parchment paper.
Preheat utensil over medium-low heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
Quickly pour batter into utensil and cover. Continue cooking on low heat.
When vapo valve clicks steady, reduce heat to the lowest setting and bake for approximately time specified on package.
Note: To remove excess moisture from food, tilt the cover during the last 5 to 10 minutes of baking. Browning of the baked food will be slight.
